How LiteLedger handles
your data.
Your LiteLLM proxy already holds your customer conversations. LiteLedger uses those logs for customer analysis, with workspace access managed by admins and AI processing on the provider credentials you configure.
Read-only sync
Sync reads your proxy’s existing logs, activity, and key list.
Your provider credentials
Configure the provider and API key used for analysis.
Workspace access
Workspace admins manage membership and shared settings.
Analysis records
Admins can review the server’s analysis and assistant call logs.
01
Your existing logs
Sync reads from your proxy.
A copy for customer analysis
LiteLedger reads your proxy’s logs, activity, and key list into your workspace. The synced logs include prompts, responses, and usage details. Sync does not modify the records held by your proxy.
02
AI processing
Analysis uses the provider you configure.
Customer conversations and product context
Customer analysis sends that customer’s messages and your workspace’s product notes to the configured AI provider. Analysis can also route through your LiteLLM proxy.
Summaries and assistant answers
Aggregate analysis sends customer summaries. The assistant retrieves workspace data, including conversation content and spend figures, to answer questions.
Connected AI clients
Approved members can also connect their own AI clients through the remote API. Data retrieved by those clients is handled by the provider each member uses.
03
Team access
Your admins manage the workspace.
Google sign-in and workspace membership
The hosted service uses Google sign-in. Accounts are subject to an approval policy, and workspace admins can approve or deny teammates in their email domain.
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Workspace member | Read all synced customer conversations and reports in the workspace, and run analyses. |
| Workspace admin | Member access, plus shared credentials, proxy settings, retention, and teammate approvals. |
Workspaces are organized by email domain. Application access is scoped to the signed-in account’s workspace. Full permissions and operator access →
04
Workspace records
Review analysis activity and set log retention.
Analysis records for admins
The server’s customer-analysis and assistant calls record the model, token usage, duration, status, and initiating account when available. Workspace admins can view and export these records.
A retention setting for synced conversations
Workspace admins can set a retention window for synced conversation logs. The default is unlimited. Audit database rows have a separate 90-day retention window; backup copies follow their own schedule.
05
Hosted service
Hosted in the United States.
Hosting and backups
DreamHost hosts LiteLedger and its backup storage in the United States. Backups replicate to object storage nightly.
